Two participants in the Global Solo Challenge, Cole Brauer and CCA member Ronnie Simpson, had decidedly different days recently.

Cole delighted the members of the New York station with a lengthy mid-ocean video chat.

Meanwhile, Ronnie Simpson, near the front of the fleet, found his boat going slower and slower. He decided to dive and clear it away.  He spent two hours in the water and is back in business.  See his story here.
