CCA Cruising Guides to the Canadian Maritimes and Maine

CCA members have authored four cruising guides to the Canadian Maritimes. These detailed guides reflect the authors' personal experiences and are augmented by numerous updates and new material from several CCA members and other supportive mariners as they cruise these beautiful and sometimes challenging waters. Started in 1952, these guides are now in their 71st year of continuous publication. An updated edition of the CCA Cruising Guide to Nova Scotia was launched in 2022, and an updated edition of the CCA Cruising Guide to Newfoundland was introduced in 2023.  Both have enjoyed excellent reviews and substantial sales success.

CCA Guides Committee Chair Wilson Fitt and past Chair Doug Bruce are pleased to announce that the club's first online cruising guide has proven to be hugely popular, with over twenty thousand users over its first two years. This innovative guide has been the culmination of 2 years of planning and collecting information by over 30 writers, editors, and photographers – all CCA members with vast experience cruising their much-loved Maine Coast.
