Saturday, March 12, 2022, 10:00-11:00 AM EST, a Zoom event
Presented by the CCA/NYS
If offshore alone or sailing double-handed, do you know how to get back onto your boat if you go overboard? Climb your mast? Manage your sleep? These issues and more will be addressed.
Rich du Moulin and David Tunick will discuss techniques developed for shorthanded situations, whether sailing with one or two aboard, whether racing or cruising, butequally applicable if other crew are present. Emphasis will be on how to practice, with video examples.
We present this seminar in advance of the recently announced new race that begins on Sunday, June 26, 2022, from Bermuda to Newport for single- and double-handers. The race is a collaboration of the New York Yacht Club, the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club, and the CCA.
The seminar is a collaboration of the CCA, NYYC, RBYC, and Storm Trysail Club.
