We have just received word that Marvin Creamer, CCA Blue Water Medal recipient of 1985, has passed on at the ripe age of 104.  His award notes: "For a series of off shore voyages culminating in a west to east circumnavigation via Cape of Good Hope and Cape Horn without navigational instruments -compass - chronometer, sextant or electronics." (emphasis added)

The New York Times recapped his life and remarkable adventure in an article today.
